How it works
The snippet is a plain link to this site plus one script. The script replaces the link with a frame that loads the widget from coloradorivermonitor.com, so nothing runs in your page except a few lines that size the frame. If the script is blocked, the link stays. Readings refresh hourly on our side; your visitors' browsers cache the widget for up to ten minutes.
